REFRASIL®

Vic K-International is proud to be the exclusive representative for REFRASIL® in Asia and the Middle East. Among the REFRASIL® products that Vic K-International can provide are:

  • REFRASIL® C100 series is a pre-shrunk cloth that protects against high temperatures of up to 1800 °F (982 °C). It is distinguished by its pure white color and is ideal for applications requiring very low residual heat shrinkage (≤ 5%). The fabric is suitable for many heat treatment applications and is useful in various composite applications.

  • “Irish” Woven Fabric contains a special coating that provides exceptional functioning when higher temperature performance, up to 2300°F (1260°C), is required.

  • REFRASIL® tapes are a cost-effective way to protect equipment from high temperatures. Standard REFRASIL® tapes contain high concentrations of silica (>96% SiOB2B), intended for continuous service in high-temperature applications up to 1800 °F (982 °C). The woven tapes can be pre-shrunk by being hot fired to prevent further shrinkage while in use.

Composites

Vic K-International offers Towpreg and Pre-preg composites made with our exclusive resin system applied to the fiber of your choice below.

Our towpregs are used in a variety of markets including aerospace, industrial, and infrastructure.

  • Fabrics, also referred to as “broadgoods,” are used in a wide variety of markets including medical, industrial, infrastructure, aerospace and recreation. Prepreg fabrics can be process-tailored for tack and drape as they are ideal for use in either pressure or vacuum bag layup processes. Available fiber forms include carbon, glass, aramid and astroquartz.
